Day 02

FYP has finally begun. We had to split in a group of three or four just for consultations. So, we shared our stories and improve on it if we could because helping each other is the best. Well, during internship, I already thought of a story and currently I have modified it like five times. Finally, it is being approved by Alan unless I changed to the guy tripping and accidently hit the girl who was drinking the juice. I changed that and well, my story is done. Now I’m left with character and environment design. Oh, I could start on my storyboard or just go straight to my animatics.

This is my finalized story, please leave do leave comments:

Title: Imperfection is perfect

Justin and Ann both met on the net, long chats on msn and the phone, when finally; they decided to meet for the first time.

They met at the middle lane park by the oak tree. Ann prepared the food and waited. Justin came on time. Feeling confident and calm, he walked up to Ann but then he accidently tripped over a branch and fell on her. Unfortunately, she had a glass of orange juice in her hand. He took soviet that Ann brought and tried to wipe the stain off but she just remained calm, gave a polite smile and told him to take a seat.

Ann passed him a hotdog sandwich and they chatted while eating. During the conversation, weird things start to happen. Mustard and chili fell onto Justin’s new shirt. Instead of telling him, Ann laughed and pointed to his shirt. He looked and laughed as well but then he has bits of chili in between his teeth.

Ann was rather disappointed as the date was not as well as she planned. After finishing their hotdog sandwich, Ann had an idea of a watermelon eating contest. The loser has to clean the area up. Justin agreed and she took out a ¾ cut watermelon. He gave this confused look but still agreed.

She was too excited that she finished it first and gave a really huge smiled that revealed her missing teeth. Justin burst out laughing and pointing at her teeth. She realized and placed her missing tooth where it belongs and teared a little bit. He reached over and touched her shoulder and said look at mine. He took out his full set of teeth.

Moral of the story is: No one is perfect therefore imperfection is perfect to Justin and Ann.
